ROBINSON HELICOPTER TRANSITION COURSES
Robinson R22 & R44
We understand that not all helicopter pilots learned to fly in Robinson helicopters and so we developed transition courses to provide an economical training option for those wishing to gain familiarity and proficiency in Robinson helicopters.
There are many commercial operators that use Robinson helicopters and having a structured transition course under your belt will certainly make you a more marketable pilot.
Course Details
This course includes three stages of training which must be completed consecutively. Those students coming to the US on a student visa, or those utilizing veteran's benefits or the Alaska Student Loan Program must complete all three stages within 120 days each for a maximum course total of 360 days.
Robinson R44 & R22 Transition
MINIMUM COURSE REQUIREMENTS
1. Hold a private pilot helicopter certificate.
2. Obtain sufficient dual instruction for proficiency.
3. Pilot must meet the Practical Test Standards for their applicable certificate in the Robinson R44.

5 Hours of dual instruction minimum.

15-20 hours of ground instruction minimum.

* Please note that all Transition Courses can take from 5-10 hours of flight time depending on ability and proficiency.
